Hotel linen washing has always been a key concern for hotel operation and management personnel. Especially the problem of linen stiffening after washing is a top priority. How to address it? Huai'an StarShell has the answers for you.
1.Optimize the Washing Formula
Reduce the dosage of alkaline detergents and switch to neutral detergents to avoid fiber damage and hardening. Add fabric softener during rinsing to neutralize residual detergents.
2.Standardize the Washing Process
Control the washing water temperature (40-60℃ is recommended for cotton products) and avoid prolonged boiling at high temperatures. Ensure thorough rinsing to prevent detergent residue.
3.Adjust Drying and Ironing
Do not set the drying temperature too high—remove the linen when it is 80% dry. Use the steam function during ironing to restore the softness of the fibers.
4.Targeted Treatment for Old Linen
For severely stiff cotton linen, soak it in a diluted white vinegar solution for 30minutes before rinsing. The acidic nature of the vinegar will neutralize residual alkaline substances.
